Camden Town Brewery
The Telly Ad You Can Drink
2020. What a time to still briefly be alive.
In a year that’s felt like we’ve been collectively staring at an asteroid slowly but surely hurtling towards Earth,
what better way to cheer up a country under house-arrest than giving a load of delicious, fresh beer away?
And by harnessing technological magic of ‘QR Codes’ we even made it fun!
You could get a fresh beer delivered right to your doorstep just by watching TV
and scanning the codes as they popped up on screen. Turns out 2020 wasn’t so bad after all.

Lucky winners get fresh Camden Hells lager delivered in a collector’s edition box.
Which essentially became box-shaped billboards that people shared on Twitter.

Hidden inside the ad is a url to Pasteurgeddon, a game about how zapping beer with a load of heat makes it less tasty––which pretty much every beer brand does. But not Camden. You can play it by typing out the link printed on the packaging: https://www.camdentownbrewery.com/tell-me-everything-about-pasteurisation-i-clearly-want-to-know-everything-as-i-have-bothered-copying-out-this-entire-url
